A monthly writing adventure for kids ages 4+ who are just learning their letters. Join Lale the Snail on a gentle progression through the alphabet, with joy and confidence-building at the center.
Make learning to write feel exciting, meaningful, and low-pressure. Each month, your child receives a special piece of mail addressed to them from Lale the Snail. Filled with activities designed to build letter recognition, connect letters with their sounds, and begin writing with confidence.
Who it's for: children ages 4+ who are developing early writing skills, kids who need novel, low-pressure entry points to writing, neurodivergent kids, kids who need confidence not drills
How it works: Receive one piece of mail every month themed around two or three letters of the alphabet. The first month focuses on Ll and Tt.
What arrives each month:
- A personal note from Lale the Snail, addressed to your child
- An activity guide
- Letter-sound stickers to colour in
- Collectible stamps
- Mini worksheets and a wipe-away activity for writing practice
- Materials for a simple, hands-on activity to do together
More than just alphabet practice
The Snail Mail Alphabet Club isn't just about practicing the alphabet. It helps kids develop a positive relationship with writing from the very beginning. Through activities that make writing meaningful, contextual, supported, and joyful. Children can explore, experiment, and experience themselves as writers.

Frequently Asked Questions
When will my first letter be sent?
Orders placed more than 7 days before the end of the month will be sent right away. When you place an order during the last 7 days of the month, your first letter will be mailed on the 5th of the following month. You will receive a welcome email confirming when your first and subsequent letters will be sent.
Can I gift this subscription?
Yes, absolutely. Just enter the recipient's address at checkout. (In the payments section, uncheck "Use shipping address as billing address" to enter your billing address.)
We also offer a printable gift note you can give the recipient so they know what to expect. Just email us at hello@littlepaperfort.com to request one.
What if my mail doesn't arrive?
Letters are sent by lettermail, so occasional delays can happen.
If your letter has not arrived 2 weeks after its mailing date for Canadian addresses, or 3 weeks after its mailing date for U.S. addresses, please contact us at hello@littlepaperfort.com. We're happy to arrange a replacement when appropriate. See our shipping policy for more details.
I've moved. Can I change my shipping address?
Yes. You can manage your subscription online, using the link in your welcome email, or access your customer account. Here, you can update your shipping address and payment information.
Can I skip a month or cancel my subscription?
When you choose "pay monthly," you can skip a month, and pause or cancel your subscription in your customer account.
